Doggy Doo Crew LLC ("Doggy Doo Crew," "DDC," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you visit our website, request information, submit a form, become a customer, participate in our referral program, or otherwise interact with us.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect information you voluntarily provide to us, including:

  • Name
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • Service address
  • Billing and transaction information
  • Information about your pets, including the number of dogs
  • Requested service type or frequency
  • Property, gate, access, and service instructions
  • Communications, questions, feedback, and service requests
  • Referral information
  • Other information you choose to provide

The information collected depends on how you interact with Doggy Doo Crew.

2. Website Forms and Quote Requests

Information submitted through our website may include Contact Us inquiries, Refer a Friend submissions, and other forms we make available.

Contact Us and Refer a Friend submissions are transmitted to our website platform and stored in its protected data area. Doggy Doo Crew also receives an email notification containing or relating to the submission.

The website platform currently retains these stored submissions for one year, after which the platform records are automatically deleted. Authorized users may also be able to delete submissions sooner. Copies contained in Doggy Doo Crew's business email or other business records may be retained separately when reasonably necessary for customer service, referral administration, recordkeeping, legal, security, or other legitimate business purposes.

Some quote requests, scheduling functions, invoices, customer account features, and payment functions may be provided through third-party business systems. Information submitted through those systems may become part of Doggy Doo Crew's customer records and is also subject to the applicable provider's privacy practices.

3. Payment Information

Doggy Doo Crew uses third-party payment processors and customer-management systems to process payments.

When you enter payment-card or banking information into a secure payment system, the payment provider processes and stores that information according to its own security and privacy practices. Doggy Doo Crew generally does not need to receive or store your full payment-card number directly.

We may receive transaction information such as payment status, amount, date, payment-method type, and limited identifying details necessary to manage your account and payment history.

4. Website Analytics and Similar Technologies

Our website currently uses built-in first-party website analytics to provide basic information about website activity, such as page views and site traffic.

The website platform uses browser local storage and similar technologies to recognize a visit and support website functionality and analytics. Its current built-in analytics uses browser local storage rather than traditional cookies to recognize a visit and respects browser Do Not Track settings.

At the time of this Privacy Policy's Last Updated date, the Doggy Doo Crew website does not load Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta/Facebook Pixel, or other third-party advertising or analytics trackers, and it does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

The website also uses limited technical functionality to provide website features such as our live Google rating.

If our website technology or tracking practices materially change, we may update this Privacy Policy and provide any additional notices or consent mechanisms required by applicable law.

6. How We Disclose Information

Doggy Doo Crew does not sell or rent personal information.

We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to service providers and contractors that help us operate our business, including providers supporting website hosting and operation, customer management, scheduling and routing, payment processing, communications, accounting, marketing, website functionality, IT, security, and other business operations.

These providers may process information on our behalf or as necessary to provide their services.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or valid legal requests, protect our rights or property, protect customers or others, investigate fraud or misuse, or in connection with a merger, sale, reorganization, or transfer of business assets.

7. Text Messages and Email

If you provide your phone number or email address, Doggy Doo Crew may use that information for communications reasonably related to your inquiry or service, including quote follow-up, scheduling, on-the-way notifications, service completion, invoices, payments, weather or route changes, account updates, and customer support.

Where applicable, promotional or marketing communications will be sent in accordance with applicable consent and opt-out requirements.

You may opt out of promotional communications using the applicable unsubscribe or opt-out method. Service-related communications may still be necessary while you have an active service relationship with us.

8. Refer a Friend Information

Our referral program allows an existing customer or other person to provide information about someone they would like to refer to Doggy Doo Crew.

Referral information may include the referring person's contact information and the referred person's name, phone number, email address, or other information submitted through the referral form.

If you provide another person's information, please provide information you reasonably have permission to share.

We use referral information to administer the referral program, contact the referred person as appropriate, track eligibility for referral credits, and maintain appropriate business records.

9. Service Photos and Operational Information

During service, Doggy Doo Crew may create operational records such as service notes, access instructions, gate information, property-condition notes, pet information, and photographs.

For example, our normal service process may include a photograph documenting that a gate was closed after service.

We may use these records for customer communication, service documentation, quality control, training, resolving service concerns, safety, and other legitimate business operations.

We do not intentionally use identifiable private-property photographs for unrelated promotional purposes when separate permission would reasonably be appropriate.

10. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, to maintain customer and business records, administer services, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and protect our legitimate business interests.

As noted above, Contact Us and Refer a Friend submissions stored within the website platform are currently retained for one year and then automatically deleted. Copies in our email or other business systems may be retained separately when reasonably necessary.

Information maintained by third-party service providers may be subject to their own retention practices.

11. Data Security

Doggy Doo Crew takes reasonable administrative, technical, and operational measures designed to protect personal information. We also rely on service providers that maintain their own security practices for systems such as website hosting, customer management, communications, and payment processing.

However, no website, electronic transmission, storage system, or security measure can guarantee absolute security.

12. Your Choices

You may contact Doggy Doo Crew to update or correct information you have provided, ask questions about information we maintain about you, request deletion of certain information when appropriate, change your communication preferences, or opt out of promotional communications.

Certain information may need to be retained for completed transactions, accounting, legal obligations, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or other legitimate business purposes.

Browser settings may also allow you to manage local storage, cookies, and similar technologies.

13. Third-Party Websites and Services

Our website may link to or integrate with third-party websites and services, including customer-management, payment, mapping, review, social-media, or other platforms.

When you interact directly with a third-party service, its privacy policy and terms may apply to information processed through that service. Doggy Doo Crew is not responsible for the privacy practices of independently operated third-party websites or services.

14. Children's Privacy

Doggy Doo Crew's website and services are intended for adults seeking pet waste removal or related property services.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through our website. If we learn that personal information from a child under 13 has been collected without appropriate authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as our website, technology, services, or business practices change.

The current version will be posted on our website with an updated Last Updated date. Material changes may also be communicated through other reasonable means when appropriate.
